Deak HarpDeak Harp

Deak has been playing the blues harp since the early age of 12, when he was inspired by a classmate to pick it up. He paid his dues in the 80s, playing with and learning from harmonica masters James Cotton and William Clarke. Recently he did a stint as the featured harp player in the Kilborn Alley Blues Band. Today Deak continues to perform solo at clubs and festivals throughout the midwest and south, including the Juke Joint Festival and the Arkansas Blues & Heritage Festival.
